Restructuring

As the winter slowly creeps up on us (it snowed today) and Obama begins this transition into the worst job on the planet, things in Tuebingen are ramping up (or down?). I have begun laying out the details of my masters thesis and wrapping up my english classes for the winter holidays. For those of you that will be in the Portland area, I am going to be there from the 15th to the 26th of december. Short trip, I know, but that's life..

And now, for your enjoyment, here's some happy video of our favorite governor! Hattip to Ben Smith (and Johnathan Martin):

weddings galore!

'tis the season.

you know you're all wondering what i'm up to! :-P

I got married in September and then went on a Pacific Northwest Brewery tour extravaganza. (Hooray beer). I learned that Rogue not only makes fantastic beer (hazelnut brown nectar, anyone?) but also cheese, and amazing spirits (their gin is fantastic!).

So if anyone's wondering what to do after grad school, here's my advice - become obsessed with homebrewing, get down on one knee and ask a fantastic man to marry you, get married by a giant statue of a troll, drink awesome beer for two weeks, and go to pastry school!

Our wedding was also featured on the offbeat bride website here.
